THREE DIMENSIONAL BAMBOO PAINTING
This modern bamboo sculpture combines the visual style of the Qilin, of Beijing Opera and of Kung Fu. The thinking behind the piece is inspired by Cubism, the avant-garde art movement. The artist adapted these pictorial pioneering techniques to the art of bamboo sculpting, portraying several angles at once.
